Vanmorgen de Optolyth Monokular 10x28 BGA / FK geleverd gekregen en gelijk getest.
Naar mijn mening, een top product waarmee je discreet zaken in de gaten kan houden EN afstanden inschatten dmv het mil-kruis als je de hoogte kent van een object dat je in beeld hebt.
Als je het vergelijkt met het Aldi kijkertje dat een kwart ervan kostte... heb je een 10x beter product, helderder, gemakkelijker, kleiner (monotube) en afstandmeting. Goedkoop is in dat geval duurkoop, zoals zo vaak.

persoonlijk vind ik 10x vergroting te nerveus voor een monoculair.
heb deze hawk rangefinder met 6x vergroting en dat is prettig.

Valt goed mee so far. Nadeel van een laser range finder is de grootte, de nood aan batterijen, het al eens
slecht werken op bepaalde oppervlaktes en bij veel zonlicht, het feit dat het een actief ding is, dus je staat
letterlijk een laserstraal te stralen enz... Voordeel is dan weer dat het in het donker wel nog kan werken,
het precies is wat je met een passief systeem dan weer niet hebt.
Ik wou eerst en vooral een zeer compacte doch goede verrekijker (altijd een compromis),
het draadkruis maakt dat afstanden inschatten dan weer kan, wat zeer leuk meegenomen is.

heb het ding nu al een jaar of wat en de batterij heeft nog steeds zat leven en toch veel gebruikt. (als ik hem niet gebruik stop ik wel een plastic lipje tussen de batterij om langzaam leeglopen tegen te gaan)wodan wrote:de nood aan batterijen.....

bij veel zon doet die het ook prima en behalve op bladeren heb ik nog geen oppervlak gevonden waarop ik niet kon meten.
laserstraal is compleet onzichtbaar, is een hele korte puls en word niet geregistreerd in je hersenen.
hoe is die monoculair in het donker trouwens? is namelijk een flinke vergroting icm een kleine lens.
hoe groter de lens hoe meer licht er binnenkomt en daardoor beter het licht versterkt.

10x28 is 10x vergroting met een hoofdlens van 28mm @peerke.
